     The full name of MYS is "Mark Yuhina Special", which is who as my rod tester and fly fishing mentor, we started to develop this taper in 2018, tested a bunch of different versions of this taper in several types of waters in Taiwan and Hokkaido, eventually came out with an "unconventional medium fast" action of this cane rod, it's a light, flexible and easy casting cane that will flip your thinking on bamboos.

     Based on our innumerable tests this taper is a great Dry fly rod, also performs well in nymphing, mainly not design for streamer fly fishing but still able to deal with some small number of the streamers.

     This rod is highly recommended casting with a long belly single hand lines that shooting head is over 42', DT line is also a great choice, line weight #1~5 are all able able to fit this rod, you will feel the line while casting even with a #1 line, and vintage fly reels that with heavier weight would help balanced the rod better. 

     this rod offer 2~4 pieces of section, all making with the unique "Hatori Joint" designed by myself, the actions are still a little different, but yet none of them you would feel dead spot while casting.
